Glimpses of Japan

Today, I came across a Shinto religious ceremony known as Sanno. During the ceremony, participants walk three times through what’s called the “Ring of Chi.” The purpose of the ceremony is to take away sins and bad luck.

Later in the day, we were treated to a performance of Kabuki, which is a form of traditional Japanese theater.

Finally, I made a new friend – a sumo wrestler. Fortunately, he was in a good mood.

I hope you are enjoying the blog, and I hope you’ll post a message.
